This trip will take you to three important temples in the morning. First is Wat Yai Chai Mongkon, the tallest pagoda in Ayutthaya that was built for the victory of King Naresuan the Great after defeating the Burmese Crown Prince. Second is Wat Mahathat, also located in the city of Ayutthaya, and see why a Buddha head with tree trunk and roots growing around it and is over a hundred-years-old has become a strange beauty that has made this temple famous to both Thais and foreigners. Wat Phra Si Sanphet, an important temple built in the Royal Palace that enshrines Phra Si Sanphet Dayan, had all its gold burned when the city was destroyed in 1767. After the temples we’ll head to Pludhaya Resort and Spa for a Thai cooking class to cook up our late lunch. Wrap up the tour with a scenic walk or sip a cup of coffee in an atmosphere which is surrounded by nature and rice fields.
