Leaving Bangkok at noon, we’ll visit the Train Market. A local fresh market that is set up upon a train track, you’ll witness vendors quickly pack up their stalls within minutes as a train comes down the track and re-set up shop just as quickly after the train passes and carry on with business as if nothing ever happened; very popular among tourists to see, We’ll then visit Wat Bang Kung, an old temple built since the Ayutthaya period and the entire structure is covered with the roots of the Bodhi tree, one of the unseen in Samut Songkhram Province, housing the “Luang Pho Nilmanee” Buddha. Visit Wat Bangkaenoi, where the interior of the building are beautifully crafted wood carvings by the craftsman of Phetchaburi, telling the stories of Buddha’s biography. Then continue the tour to Amphawa Floating Market. Through the cooperation of the people in this community, they have been able to revive the market of the past and been able to preserve this riverside community and become a popular evening market selling various foods, vegetables, fruits, Thai desserts, and various merchant items by boat and on land.
