This tour will take you to the highlights of Bangkok. Wat Prakaew, or the Temple of Emerald Buddha, which enshrines the sacred carved Jade Buddha and is the most sacred temple in Thailand. Grand palace was formerly the residence of Thai kings, and at present, some buildings are still used for ceremonies and receptions for visiting heads of State and guests of their Majesties. And one cannot miss to visit Bangkok’s first university, Wat Pho. Wat Pho is famous for their Thai massage school but also known for the second largest reclining Buddha in Thailand. and then take a longtail speed boat (known as James Bond’s boat) into various canals in Bangkok. Visit the houses and temples by the water, including Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) which used to be a royal temple in the old palace during the Thonburi period and its beautiful pagoda is currently used by the Tourism Authority of Thailand as its logo. We’ll have lunch at a local restaurant (cost of lunch is not included in the tour fee) and wrap up the tour with an opportunity to stand on the glass tray above Bangkok with panoramic views at Mahanakorn Sky Walk Bangkok (admission ticket will be required to pay onsite).
REMARK: Dress code for the Grand Palace:
Not allowed: shorts, mini skirt, see through dress, cuts off and tighten trousers, torn jeans, tank top, cropped shirt Allowed: sandals.
